American Catholic Almanac – Book Review

American Catholic Almanac

Lately I have been in the mood to learn more and pray more about my Catholic faith. Which is exactly why I was delighted to review the American Catholic Almanac by Brian Burch and Emily Stimpson.

My normal morning routine includes spending time in prayer. The first book I always open is Jesus Calling then I read a bit of the Bible. So it was very easy to include the American Catholic Almanac into my morning routine.

I wasn’t sure what to expect, but when I received the book I was pleasantly surprised. Just like my Jesus Calling daily devotional, this book is broken down into daily readings. Each reading is a page long with information on each of the Catholics and something in their life that happened on that particular day. I have already learned a lot about many saints, lay men/women, and others that had a part in the Catholic Church.

I would recommend this to anyone who wants to add a bit of daily Catholic knowledge to their lives. It is an easy read and very informative.

Nice review:) Hope you check out my debut- THE WAITING ROOM! It also deals with faith, but in a very different way.
