Hey homeschool momma!
Are you overwhelmed? Going through a tough patch? Feeling a bit of burnout?
Homeschool Rescue is an online resource that is geared towards homeschool parents. Whether you have been in the trenches for years and just need a pick me up, or you are diving in and feeling a bit overwhelmed and anxious, Homeschool Rescue provides a great resource for those hard stages of homeschooling.
The online e-course is 60 days with many lessons to help get you and your homeschool back on the right track. There are 5 modules within the e-course, ranging from troubleshooting your homeschool to organization and curriculum. Each module includes multiple lessons, homework and extra reading for a deeper learning. You can also download the transcript, audio and note pages, making the ease of doing the lesson anywhere a plus.
The homework portions for each lesson helped me to dig a little deeper and really put the lesson to work in our homeschool. They were not overwhelming. Instead they were straight to the point but helped me to work through the lesson at hand.
While I didn’t feel that I needed a lot of the information right now, luckily we seem to be in a good groove right now, I definitely see how this would a great thing to come back to when we hit some speed bumps. And because the membership provides lifetime access to the e-course and files, I can get back in when I’m in need a little refresher or pick me up and I will have it all at my fingertips.
In addition to the wonderful e-course, there is also a great Facebook support group, a live course, multiple planners and to-do lists, as well as personalized support via email. These all add to the benefit of this program.
If you are a scheduler and need to get the program setup on a monthly calendar for you to stay on track. they have you covered. There is a great 60 Day schedule for your to download and use as a guide. This schedule not only keeps you on track with the modules and lessons but also the homework and other to-dos regarding the e-course. If you are a check-a-box type of homeschool mom this will be wonderful for you!
Overall, even though I didn’t feel this was a needed thing in my homeschool right now, I did get quite a bit out of it and will definitely be logging back in when we go through a rough spot. I loved the setup and the idea behind the program and I will be recommending it to my friends that are having some trouble keeping their heads above water right now.
