I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting on motherhood, parenting and life in general. I keep coming back to the thought that we need to follow our hearts. Even when it is very different than what others think is best.
Twice this week I’ve been covered in mud. The first time I slipped on a nature walk and covered my side.
The second time was by choice.
No I didn’t have a fancy spa treatment. This was the mud puddle you find after a good week of rain in your own backyard. Well in this case our best friends backyard.
We are book lovers around here. There is not a room in our house that does not have a book in it… literally, even the bathrooms. Adding books to our collection is a constant thing. Which is why I was excited that we were given the opportunity to review the book I’d Rather Be Your Mommy by Home School Adventure Co..
I love doing things that are more natural, and I feel like there is a lot of “extras” in the items we use on a daily basis. A few years ago, I stepped into the essential oils world, for my health and the health of my family. Using oils was an alternative to the over the counter medications and many times, just the boost we needed to move on to bigger and better things in our day.
Over the past month, I have spent a lot of time planning for Lent for the kiddos and myself. Here are a few of the resources we will be using this year.
It’s been a crazy week. In addition to our normal craziness, Sugar Plum is now “almost” completely potty trained at home – she still refuses to use the potty outside our home.
That aside, the potty training has led to the “I need to wake up every few hours in the night and early in the morning” stage, which I am not a fan of.
