As soon as we think we’ve got it figured out, here comes the curve ball.
Yes, life is an ever-changing, keep-you-on-your-toes kind of thing.
But while it is crazy at times, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. Things slow down and get back to “normal” and we go about our days in less fluster and more confidence.
For me, this takes a couple weeks to find the new “normal”.
After the transition period, it seems to plateau and we get into a routine which helps everyone make it through the days without the stress.
However, summer never seems to get to that point.
There is always some curve ball coming our way.
There never seems to be a “normal” in summer. Between camps, different practice schedules and everything else it seems there is always something changing our normal routine.
This summer has been no different. In fact if anything it has become more crazy than before. Finding our summer grove has been hard.
We are now 2 weeks into our summer schedule and I am still running around with my head cut off!
While I am hopeful it will get better, the schedule looks more crazy as we get into the next few months. That light keeps getting dimmer.
Somehow we will figure it out, we will persevere and transition to the next thing.
Writing may not be at the top of my list right now, but I know that the feeling of wanting to write is coming on strong. It may be hit or miss for the next few months because of the craziness, but I am hopeful we will get back into our new schedule and life will be “normal” again.
Until that point, I’ll be off and on here when I can catch my breath and put words together.
